While Harrison Boiler Robotics prides itself in being so much more than robots, providing the ability to give our kids experiences to learn and grow costs money. Participating in the FIRST program, having a safe tools and equipment, travel, competing, and providing outreach is an expensive proposition. While we apply for grants and ask for sponsorships each year, fundraising is our largest form of income.
It takes a village to ensure this team is successful, and your time and efforts are greatly appreciated! Please check out the major fundraising vehicles we use each year and ensure you have a plan to actively participate.
We partner with Levy Restaurants, the contractor who runs most of the concessions for Purdue Athletics. Each year, we staff up football, basketball, and some volleyball and baseball events. Of all the fundraising we do, this is our biggest and most important fundraising opportunity! For the 2025 season, working Purdue Concessions brought in nearly $19,000. While every fundraising program we participate in makes a difference, this one is the most lucrative.
We need everyone to participate in this fundraiser. It is so important, it has become a requirement for traveling with the team. Use the link below to learn more about the Purdue Concessions process, so that you and your child can become certified and ready to work at our events!
